The LCIA Test Bed is a pilot project and as a test bed it is important that we are able to evaluate the work that we are doing. This will let us see how successful the project has been and the benefits it can bring to patients and staff. As part of this we ask patients who sign up to take part in the Test Bed to assist us by taking part in some evaluation surveys which are being conducted on behalf of Lancaster University. All information collected as part of the research will be anonymous. More information about this process can be found below.
The research team from Lancaster University will be carrying out ongoing evaluation of the Test Bed programme. The information you provide from surveys and/or the more in-depth discussions with the research team will help them put together a final report at the end of the programme (March 2018). This will highlight how effective the programme has been in reaching its aim of using technology to help people with long term conditions and dementia to self-manage their care to remain well at home for longer.
